Today, our installers from our West (Aarhus) division are working on the delivery and installation of new fittings and fixtures for the restored Svinkløv Beach Hotel.

The iconic beach hotel, originally built in 1925, was destroyed in a fire on 26 September 2016. Thanks to support from donors such as Realdania, hotel has now been restored, becoming Denmark’s largest wooden construction in the process. The hotel has been rebuilt as an almost identical copy of the original building and has 27 rooms in the main building as well as an additional 9 in an extension.

The hotel re-opens on Friday this week and is already fully booked for the rest of the season. However, the beach hotel already had a soft opening of sorts last weekend. The host couple had invited the guests who were staying at the hotel on the fateful night of the fire for dinner.

For our installers, it has been a truly special experience to be involved in the completion of the historical beach hotel by Slettestrand, Fjerritslev.
